Dixie Construction Company started out as a small paving company in Harford County, Maryland almost 50 years ago. Today, the organization has over 300 employees and owns over 500 construction assets enabling the company to take on projects throughout the entire Mid-Atlantic region.

For over 50 years, Dave and Diane Dixon helped grow Dixie Construction into a successful site contractor due to their vast knowledge, expertise and leadership. In 2017, Diane retired as part of a transition plan established several years earlier and ownership transfer to Shawn Pyle was finalized. Shawn has been a part of Dixie Construction for over 23 years and will undoubtedly build on the successes of Dave and Diane.

Dixie Construction Company currently operates from two facilities in Maryland and one in Delaware. The Churchville, MD location services clients in the Baltimore area and all points west of the Chesapeake Bay including Pennsylvania. The Beltsville, MD location covers operations in the Washington D.C. area, Southern Maryland and Northern Virginia. The Georgetown, DE location supports customers for all points east of the Chesapeake Bay including the Eastern Shores of Maryland and Delaware.
