Reserve at Riverside
In the late summer of 2011 Dixie Construction Company, Inc. was awarded a contract by private developer Harkins Builders to develop a site in Belcamp, MD. The purpose of the project is to create high density, affordable housing for incoming BRAC (Base Realignment and Closure) personal. When completed the site will consist of ten apartment buildings, one clubhouse, swimming pool, water booster station and a traffic roundabout located on Route 7 at the projects entrance. The project is expected to take six months to complete. This is another project that will showcase Dixie Constructions many abilities to provide a complete site work package. Clearing (13 acres) of the existing sites timber, excavation (100,000 cu./yds.) of dirt to be moved to bring the site to grade, underground utilities (17,500 linear ft.) of storm and drain pipe to service the sites infrastructure, concrete, curb, stone and ultimately asphalt paving will round out the projects requirements.
